Today we bring you this post to discuss the activity we did with our colleagues in NODE Garraf: The exit to the old town ofOlivella and the walk to the Old Castle.
On the one hand we could meet at 9 o’clock at the parking lot of the Fishermen’s Association of Vilanova i la Geltrú; Or if someone wanted to go there with their vehicle, at 10 o’clock in the old town of Olivella. Once there, the area of the old town was prepared with tables and chairs to carry out breakfast. By the way, in the center of Olivella, they have a really well-managed food truck, good food, good presentation …
We also went to theteam Miranda Foundation while we had lunch. Moments in which they explained all the work they do to return to a life more worthy of horses. That was really amazing. If you want to know more, contact the Foundation and for more than anything else you can sponsor a horse. It goes without saying that you will learn a lot about nature and transhumance.
To introduce yourself to these types of activities, this is an initiative by NODE Garraf, which is the development agency. We, at HLCLUB, are a tourist information point (as you have seen on the website or in the office).
The output seemed really curious. A forestry professional led us through the forest that includes the whole area around Olivella. The walk was gratifying. First of all from a physical and cultural point of view. A fact that he wanted to engrave us was when the guard spoke to us about a very fine plant that was on the shores of the roads, in the shade. Now you will be thinking about it, right? Well it’s an orchid. That is the case, because it seems too difficult to think, there are orchids in Olivella and in the entire Park. In addition, the landscape, the animals, the stream, the nature … A great experience.
At this point, I would like to ask you a question: Do you think we know everything that surrounds us and touches us more closely?
