After several postponements due to the impact on the tourism sector of Covid-19, the Generalitat informs us of the effectiveness of the increase in the tourist rate; passing, throughout Catalonia (except Barcelona), from € 0.90 to € 1.00.
As a reminder, the rates are calculated on a maximum of seven days / nights and those over sixteen years of age.
Tax reminder: If VAT is applied, the rate must be added to the taxable base of the invoice.
Remember also that next October you have to declare the tourist taxes collected from April to September.
